My name is Jo Anne Hinds.  I am a Michigan attorney with 18 years experience in the field of wills, trusts and estates.

In addition to practicing law, I teach community education classes to help others make smart decisions about important estate planning issues.

The photographs you find on this website, (like the dogwood blossoms, above, taken in the Pisgah National Forest this Spring just outside of Asheville, North Carolina) are mine.

I've chosen to share my own photography with you because I believe that estate planning requires a creative side - and that it is as much an art as a profession. In my practice, you'll find a strong technical background in will and trust law which sets the foundation for a creative, unique and modern approach to traditional estate planning. 

This website, when complete, will serve as a portal to the online educational materials I've posted over the years, including my blog, presentations and social media sites.  My objective is to provide a resource for families beginning their estate planning journey, as well as to provide ongoing support for my own clients over the years.
